We hope you are having a nice end of 2022! We have been very busy in the past months with plenty of events and with the development of new material. The Interreg MED Renewable Energy project is coming to an end this week. For that reason, we wanted to take this opportunity to share the latest project outcomes with you.

In this newsletter, you will be able to see the final results and documents which build up on the knowledge acquired during the past six years. In this newsletter, you will find a policy brief that deep dives into the transposition of the EU directives on energy communities as well as our policy recommendations to keep boosting the energy transition in the Mediterranean.

We also recently released our latest video on the achievements of our ETU territorial cases. These groups of municipalities have been working together with our flagship cases to test the ETU tools in new scenarios. Check it out to discover different local realities across the Mediterranean.

ETU Territorial Cases | Results and lessons learnt

The ETU Initiative has been working with a set of cases with unique territorial characteristics in Italy and Spain during the past year. These cases have participated in the ETU mainstreaming exercise along with the flagship cases. However, they have tested the ETU tools independently, whilst sharing their experiences.
