Together we’ll create a resilient future

From the Interreg MED Renewable Energy Community, we hope you’ve had a good start to 2021. While this year has begun with much uncertainty, we remain committed to supporting rural and island areas in joining the energy transition, and here we share with you the exciting opportunities and progress so far.

We’ve been busy sharing our Ecosystemic Transition Unit (ETU) with municipalities and entities from across the Mediterranean, offering a roadmap for rural and island towns to join the energy transition.

We also have a great opportunity for you… see below!

Feature

ETU Flagship Call – will it be you?

If you’re from a Mediterranean municipality or entity,  we invite you to become one of our ETU Flagship Cases. You’d receive expert support to develop energy policies, projects or campaigns, free of charge, by testing our ETU model.

Apply by 12th March!

Updates

ETU Training Programme

Municipalities of rural and island areas in the Mediterranean are discovering the Ecosystemic Transition Unit (ETU) model in our training from January to March.

In January 2021 we established five regional groups in Spain, Italy, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia, bringing together likeminded town leaders for weekly trainings on our ETU Toolbox. During this training programme hundreds of participants have prepared to implement these tools in their own villages, towns, and cities. Interested in joining?
